What information should I prepare before contacting AW Builders?
Prepare the property location, site photographs, approximate floor area, required spaces, preferred design direction, expected completion date and available budget range. Existing floor plans, tenancy guidelines or building management requirements are also helpful.
What happens during the consultation and site visit?
We discuss your objectives, inspect the existing condition, review site access and identify technical constraints. The assessment also helps us determine whether additional drawings, investigations, authority requirements or specialist input may be required.
How long does a typical renovation or Design & Build project take?
The duration depends on the project scope, floor area, design readiness, material lead times, approval requirements, site restrictions and construction sequencing. Smaller upgrading works may require only several weeks, while larger renovation or fit-out projects may require several months. A detailed programme can be developed once the design and scope of work have been sufficiently confirmed.
Will I receive a detailed quotation and payment schedule?
Yes. The quotation will define the proposed work items, pricing and relevant project conditions based on the available information. Deposit requirements, progress payments and balance payment conditions will be stated according to the agreed project milestones or contract terms.
How are additional works and design changes handled?
Any requested variation or unforeseen work will be reviewed for its cost and timeline impact. Where applicable, AW Builders will issue a variation proposal for the client’s confirmation before proceeding, helping both parties maintain proper cost control.
How does AW Builders monitor quality until project handover?
Project monitoring may include regular site inspections, progress updates, photographs, coordination meetings and quality checks. Before handover, we identify outstanding items, coordinate the necessary rectification and confirm the applicable aftercare or defect-related terms.
